ONE announces venue change for ONE 169 and dates for US 2025 events

ONE Championship was looking to host its 3rd event in the US with ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8th, 2024, but it has been announced that the event will be moved to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok due to "partner obligations in Thailand".

In addition, the trilogy match between Jo Nattawut and Tawanchai P.K. Saenchaimuaythaigym has been canceled, citing injury. The pair have fought twice, with both fights ending in very close decisions, with many fans believing Nattawut won either one or both of their fights.

Nattawut recently fought Superbon Singha Mawynn at ONE Friday Fights 81 on September 27th, 2024, suffering a KO (Elbow) defeat in the first round. Likely, Nattawut is not in fighting shape after that, hence the fight being scrapped. As ONE was going to Atlanta specifically for Nattawut to fight in his home city, that could also be another reason for the venue change to Lumpinee.

Fans who purchased tickets for Atlanta will receive a full refund from Ticketmaster by November 4th, 2024. ONE has also opened a priority presale for their US events in 2025, set for May 23, 2025 and December 5, 2025.
